    Burgr DFW Rolling

17-year-old cancer survivor building his dream food truck business

Hunter Crowley, Founder of BURGR DFW

    The Story

My name is Hunter Crowley. I am 17 years old and the proud owner of BURGR DFW. My journey started during a grueling three-year battle with brain cancer, which I just finished fighting in April 2026.

During my toughest days, cooking became my lifeline. It was the one thing that brought me joy and purpose when everything else felt uncertain. That passion grew from my home kitchen into a dream of sharing my chef-driven creations with the world.

I launched BURGR DFW to celebrate life and serve the best gourmet burgers in Dallas-Fort Worth. But getting a food truck off the ground comes with massive hurdles and unexpected setbacks. We've hit some bumps in the road, and to keep the truck rolling, I need your help.
